Florida non-resident Concealed Carry permit live fire qualification.

This course is designed to meet the request of the State of Florida for non-residents to have a live fire qualification to apply for a non-resident concealed carry permit.

Course of fire is as follows:

Course of Fire:

25 yard line - 8 rounds fired in 40 seconds with one reload.

15 yard line - 12 rounds fired in 40 seconds with one reload.

7 yard line - 18 rounds fired in two phases:

Phase #1 - 6 rounds fired in two round increments - no time limit.

Phase #2 - 12 rounds fired in 25 seconds with one reload.

3 yard line - 12 rounds fired in two phases:

Phase #1 - 6 rounds fired in two round increments - no time limit.

Phase #2 - 6 rounds fired in 6 seconds.

Students must score at least 70% (175 of 250 allowed points).

Student brings:

1.      100rds of target ammunition.

2.      Eye and hearing protection.

3.      $25 range fee. Due at the range.

Course cost is $100.

Florida Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit: Live Fire Qualification

Overview

This course fulfills the State of Florida’s requirement for non-residents to complete a live fire qualification prior to applying for a concealed carry permit.

Course of Fire

·         25 Yard Line: Fire 8 rounds within 40 seconds, including one reload.

·         15 Yard Line: Fire 12 rounds within 40 seconds, including one reload.

·         7 Yard Line:

·         Phase 1: Fire 6 rounds, two rounds at a time, no time limit.

·         Phase 2: Fire 12 rounds within 25 seconds, including one reload.

3 Yard Line:

Phase 1: Fire 6 rounds, two rounds at a time, no time limit.

Phase 2: Fire 6 rounds within 6 seconds.

Qualification Criteria

Students must achieve a minimum score of 70%, which is 175 out of 250 possible points.
