FYSA, LLC is a veteran-owned training company with more than 15 years of experience in the firearms industry. We are committed to developing responsible, confident individuals through professional, safety-driven instruction grounded in integrity and ethical leadership.

As a licensed academy through the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, we provide both armed and unarmed security guard training, along with comprehensive firearms and personal safety education. Our instructors bring extensive real-world and instructional expertise, ensuring every course is practical, relevant, and results-driven.

At FYSA, we believe effective training is never one-size-fits-all. Our programs are intentionally structured to address each student’s experience level, learning style, and goals—equipping them with skills they can confidently and responsibly apply..

Our instructors maintain a broad range of professional certifications and credentials, including:

• Certified General Topics and Firearms Instructors through the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services

• NYS Duly Authorized Instructor for Pistol Permit Licensing

• Federal Firearms License (FFL)

• NYS Licensed Gunsmith

• NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor

• NRA Certified Instructor: Concealed Carry Weapon, Basic Pistol, Refuse to Be a Victim®, Range Safety Officer, and Firearm Safety

• CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified
