Start or Maintain Your Security Guard Certification
This course serves as both a pre-assignment training for new security guards and an annual refresher for current professionals. Covering fundamental security principles, this training ensures you stay compliant with NYS licensing requirements.
🔹 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Course – A mandatory training required before applying for a security guard registration card. Includes a multiple-choice exam and certification upon passing.
🔹 8-Hour Annual In-Service Course – A required annual refresher to keep your security license active. Must be completed within 12 months of the 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Course and submitted to the Department of Licensing for renewal.

No live ammunition is permitted in the classroom during any class.
A valid current government issued photo identification is required.
